Every ranking starts with real conversations. For each product category, we gather recent Reddit threads where people ask for and share recommendations — the places where users speak honestly about products they've actually bought and used. We focus on recent discussions so rankings reflect what communities recommend today, not years ago.
We use AI to read through the collected comments, identify which specific products people are talking about, and classify each mention as positive, neutral, or negative. A comment saying "this is the only brand I'll ever buy" counts differently than "it's fine, nothing special" — and warnings or complaints count against a product.
Not all comments carry equal weight. When scoring products we consider:
The Trust Score shown next to each product is the share of analyzed mentions that speak positively about it, with neutral mentions counted at half weight and highly upvoted comments weighted more. Products with too few mentions to score reliably are not given a score.
Every ranked product is backed by direct quotes from actual Reddit users, shown with their upvote counts and the community they were posted in. We never fabricate quotes — what you read is what Redditors actually said.
We never accept payment for a ranking position, and commission rates play no role in how products are ordered. If Reddit communities pan a product, it doesn't make the list — no matter who sells it.
Some product links on our site are affiliate links. We may earn a small commission if you purchase through these links, at no additional cost to you. This supports the site but does not influence rankings — see our About page for more.
